Anxiety Therapy

*Monday Morning Alarm Rings*

Here we go again, you think. As tired as you feel shuffling to your first cup of coffee, you know you can't be tired today. There's that big meeting at work this afternoon. You need to run to the store on your lunch break. Your family is visiting this weekend and you're trying to stay committed to the new fitness routine. So the whole day, maybe even the whole week becomes a giant sprint to accomplish everything. You say things will improve once X happens. But like clock work, the anxious cycle repeats.

As if the external stress wasn't enough, it often feels like you have an enemy inside you sabotaging everything you want. "I'm such a _______" has started to become a regular self put-down. That same critical, perhaps even shaming voice is getting louder. But work, alcohol, dating apps or other entertainment use, whatever activity could give you a few moments of reprieve, isn’t working anymore. The weight of it all seems unbearable.

But something recently clicked and you know a serious change HAS to happen. You realize a better solution is out there but how, and where, and who are all important questions in your mind. You’re at a point where some outside help doesn’t seem like a bad idea at all.

As a mental health professional, I help guide clients through the painful maze of emotions and thoughts they’re experiencing.

Together we explore underlying causes for these symptoms and identify solutions that make sense for their life.

I see clients from all backgrounds and belief systems. I work with professionals from a variety of fields and people (young or “the young at heart”) adjusting to new stages of life.

If this sounds like you, I would be happy to chat and see if therapy would be helpful. When you are ready message below or call 615.326.9492 for a free consultation.
